favorite brands for hennaing hair , etc...

Greetings,I have been using Rainbow brand "Persian Medium Brown" (chesnut) on
my dk. brown hair (with some gray) with really good results,
however,lately it doesn't seem to be as vibrant or giving me the
coverage on the gray that I want. Any thoughts as to why? I usually
wait a month between apps. I am wondering if trying another brand
would help. Recommendations?? Have any of you tried "Henne Color"
(I like the label)? I want to try and keep my hair as brown as
possible, and not get that maroon-red sheen, which is beautiful, but
not for me. Thanks so much for any info you can provide. Peace.
