Well, Ive done it! I'm sitting here wrapped in saranwrap and an old
warm woolen hat.
Boy is this stuff gloopy!
I ordered some Yemen Henna from Castle Arts last week and mixed it
last night with wine, lemon juice, ground up cloves and a few drops
of vetiver esential oil. The stuff looks vile but smells heavenly!
Im going to leave it on a good 4-6 hours.
I did a test on a locket of my hair and was so pleased with the
results.
my hair used to be ash blonde when I was young. it is now 50% silvery
grey 50% medium ash brown...like a mouse.
The test locket came up sparkly golden on the grey and a rich warm
brown on the brown.
Will keep you all posted on the final outcome.
