I'm pretty sure you won't get a flat color. My grays have turned to transparent red-brown; my browns are darker solid brown, opaque unless I hit them with light at the right angle. So your brown strands and your blond strands will always be different colors. On top of that, your hair will get shinier each time you henna, so the tiny differences in direction between strands of the same color will turn into highlights.
