I think that some of it can be dislodged if you use a great: deal of polar solvents in the hair. In other words hot oil
: treatments, deep conditioning, or alcohol rinses. This is why I
tell
: my henna victims not to condition their hair to retain the color.

Interesting! I am coming across this idea elsewhere, too, so perhaps
there is something to it after all; I guess, however, its safe to say
that it wouldn't work to a significant degree, if you were desperate
to remove the henna...
