book that may or may not help you).

I have corkscrew curls and this book has some incredibly helpful tips
for those of us with wavy or curly hair on how to handle it and how
to encourage the natural curl to emerge. Some of it sounds pretty
radical - especially the part about never washing your hair with
shampoo, but using conditioner and massaging it into the scalp
instead - but I have yet to find something in there that was less
than helpful.
