This may be a little off subject, but does anyone have any
experience with using the soapnut (sapindus mukurossi) or shikakai
(acacia canciana) for washing the hair. On another website it says
that the soapnut is used for washing delicates without harming the
colors in them but it also is used for the removal of colors used in
the "Festival of Colors" in India. How can both of these properties
be possible at the same time? Also, it says that the plant Acacia
canciana or Shikakai is used for washing hair. Can anyone tell me
more about these two plants. There is also another one Bhring Raj
or Eclipta Alba that is used for hair in India.
