I just used Aritha (soapnut) and Shikakai this week! I really
enjoyed it. I took the powders and soaked them in water over night.
I put coconut oil on my scalp and hair and let it sit for 1 hour.
Then I used the very thin paste to wash. And it worked! I loved it!
I used a little vinegar rinse after, but I don't think it would
nessesary as the nut and pod are acidic. But that is all I did.

I plan to do it again tomorrow, but I am going to try to strain out
the herbs and use just the tea. I don't know tons about them, as I
can't find much on the net, but I really like the results that I
got. I have been trying to find a truely natural shampoo, and I
think I finally did it.

I think that the Eclipta Alba is used for greying and baldness (if I
remember right).

Now I am just trying to find how the Indians took care of thier
skin. Not much is on the net. Oh, well.
