What do you do with glasses while hennaing? And agar-agar again.

I think I used to put my contact lenses in while I was waiting for it
to cook, but I don't think my friend K has lenses. She does at least
have relatively short hair, chin-length. Is it still possible to wear
glass when you're head's covered with henna, cling film and a towel
turban?

Also, could anyone answer my question about agar-agar? Can we use it
for the gel method, does it have any different requirements (saw an
article somewhere saying it doesn't work well with acid), quantity to
use, does it behave nicely, has anyone ever tried it?
