: I think I used to put my contact lenses in while I was waiting for
it
: to cook, but I don't think my friend K has lenses. She does at
least
: have relatively short hair, chin-length. Is it still possible to
wear
: glass when you're head's covered with henna, cling film and a towel
: turban?
:
: Also, could anyone answer my question about agar-agar? Can we use
it
: for the gel method, does it have any different requirements (saw an
: article somewhere saying it doesn't work well with acid), quantity
to
: use, does it behave nicely, has anyone ever tried it?

I have metal frames but the ear pieces are covered plastic. Once
with the resulting stain was enough for me to wise up: I wrap the
sides of the glasses in a layer of plastic wrap. If the henna gets
on them, it doesn't go through that and I'm good to go!
