I did a harvest test this morning.. & a strand test, on the hair on
my head, this evening.. both with just pure henna, lemon juice & tea
tree EO..
I've pretty much coloured my hair to death, over the past few years
(I still have brown permanent dye over most of it, with blonde
highlights), so was concerned that my head was a potential disaster
zone!
The blonde highlights have gone a pretty bright orange, but it
doesn't look bad, but the bit of hair I've done, is super shiny &
soft! So I think I'm going to take the plunge, at the weekend!

Just one question, for you seasoned henna peoples..
Am I right in thinking, that if I repeatedly (as in, once a month,
or so, over several months) henna my hair, the previously blonde
bits in my hair, should become a deeper red, rather than a bright
orange?

I can't begin to tell you how useful this site has been.. thank
