I'm officially hennaed now!! I was going to get another 'before'
shot taken but...I was too impatient LOL My actual hennaing TODAY
was rather spur of the moment. I had figured I'd let the mix sit
overnight and henna tomorrow. But..I had nothing else to do and I
was reading which mentioned shorter waiting times. It was evident I
had dye release..so..I went with that. I slopped myself up real
quickly. Dh was napping as was my usual picture taker (7 yr old
son) so... I just hennaed.
I'm certain I had ds take a before pic previously..I just must have
gotten the wrong roll of film developed last time. So, I'll be
looking for that and/or another pic of my dark brown hair. Then I'll
try to get a nice shot of the new shade this week.
I'm teasing myself here...letting my hair air dry and sitting in
front of the computer LOL Not knowing what shade I have immediately
after the henna. But some reddish locks keep falling down in my
sight..I'll soon go investigate. I think it'll be alright and I only
left it on about an hour.

Oh I forgot to tell you guys about my '15 hr henna harvest test'
Yesterday I had put a lock in a mix. It was a previously hennaed
lock..I wanted to see what kind of change I might get by hennaing it
w/a slightly different mix. So, around 9:30 yesterday morning I pop
the lock in the mix. Intend to let it sit a couple of hours. Well,
dh called and was on his way home from work. Once he got there we
would go to town, mess around, just get OUT. Well, I was in teh
kitchen doing something, thought of my henna test...oh I'll get that
in just a moment. Finished what I was doing, headed back into the
kitchen and was like "uh, what was I doing?" Stood there a
moment..couldn't remember. Found something else..the whole time
thinking, no this isn't what I was meaning to do...what WAS that?
Then after we'd been in town for...probably 4 hours..my test
strand!! That's what it was! Well, we were still not ready to come
home yet. Actually, didn't make it home til 11 at which time I
STILL didn't take out my test LOL FINALLY this morning I rinsed off
the lock. Funny thing was...couldn't tell a difference in the '15 hr
test strand' *btw, I realize it ended up being more than 15 hours
LOL* and the comparison lock of previously hennaed hair.

Anyhow...there's my adventures for the weekend. ;)
