thawing frozen henna?

I now have 2 batches of henna leftovers in my freezer ...

when I am ready to henna my hair again (next week? the week after?) I'll need to know
how to thaw them out to preserve the dye release ~ I froze them right after applying
the henna to my hair.

Also, if I plan to mix something else in (indigo?) how/when would I add that to the
thawing/thawed henna?
