I fill each bag up about 1/3 full, and then mush that out so I have a thin layer of henna that fills the bag. Freeze flat. Very easy to thaw, very quick. Alternately, henna ice-cubes. I've made them with body henna mixes before, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for hair henna. Also, that way, you thaw just what you need. For the actual thawing part, I set the bag-o-henna on the tv when it's turned on. Room temp plus the warmth of the tv have the henna thawed in under half an hour, usually.
