What about my '15 hr test' ?? *it was actually 22 : : hrs* : : Wow, that's weird! Did it at least give the same colour as your : previous test strands, or on your head for that matter, or no colour : change at all? Hmm. The only other thing I wonder is if the mix was : more than a couple of days old...even so you'd think at that length : you'd see some difference, wouldn't you... : : I don't know what precise factors were different for me. I keep all : my samples in the "hot press" -- the closet where my hot water tank : lives. Its about 80 degrees F in there all the time. So it keeps my : little test samples lovely and cosy! : As far as the mix goes, it was a black coffee mix, and at least 12 : hours old and there was a lot of dye release. I know my hair is very : porous, and does take up the colour quite readily. : : I did another 8+ hour sample with my usual red wine mix and it wasn't : quite as deep a result as the black coffee. It was still quite a dark : red, but still a slight orange cast that just wasn't there on the : other test. So there you go... : : Worth testing again anyway? Sorry to put the soapmaking on hold, not : to mention the baby, kids, meals... hehehee! Yeah same shade as before..*maybe* just *maybe* barely darker but you'd have to look hard and in the right light. Otherwise it looked as though nothing else was done to it. Really weird I tell ya. Well if I ever get the coffee maker back I'll have to give it a whirl. What..baby? kids? meals? Should those things mean anything to me?? LOL Juuuuust kidding...don't call services on me folks LOL ~T~
