Yes, indeed, Lucille Ball was a blonde who hennaed her hair. In her
earliest films you can see that she was blonde. I don't believe she
had very good quality henna .... it simply couldn't be exported
expeditiously.
There is a Lucille Ball festival in western New York state, and once
they called me up to do henna at their festival. They had some of
Lucille Ball's original henna, and ... well .... when I said I did
henna body art they were very suprised that there was a use of henna
other than hair.
