Hair turned orange/blonde where the gray was; what can I do??

I have medium to dark brown hair with about 25% gray. Unfortunately,
I didn't realize that the henna would grab onto the gray much more
than the rest of my hair. I have ended up with somewhat
orange/blonde where the gray was. The rest was essentially
unchanged. Is there any way to get the orange/blonde hairs to be
darker? Or is there any way to take the color out? The package also
said that this would be semi-permanent, washing out within 3 months.
Is that not true?? Thank you all for any help!
