Confused about Senna...are they all the same????

I'm just a little confused about the senna: Are C. angustifolia,
Mecca Senna and Cassia Obovata all the same thing? I'm asking
because I've located some Mecca Senna over here where I live and I
was wondering if I could use it for my hair? When I told the store
owner that I was thinking about making a tea out of it and putting it
on my hair, he laughted and said that it was to be used as a laxative
infusion!!! Then I came home and read in your information about
senna (as well as in other places in the internet) that the senna
leaves are actually used as a laxative. So now I don't know what's
up. I guess my question is, will an infusion of Mecca Senna be the
same as using neutral senna on my hair? I don't want anything weird
to happen to me!!!!
