You read my mindPosted by Lyndsae on June 21, 2004 at 13:45:28: In reply to: My New Love Affair With Henna! posted by Shelli on June 21, 2004 at 13:19:30: I dyed my hair with henna yesterday for the first time in almost 10years. I don't know why I stopped really, I can't think of a time when I didn't feel that I should be a redhead. In the years between my earlier henna applications and yesterday's application, my hair has naturally darkened quite a bit, from a mousey brown to a medium or dark brown. I didn't get the brilliant copper color that I was hoping for. I can't seem to find any tips anywhere about making henna MORE orangey rather than less. I did try a test sample with tumeric and didn't like the color I got. Any ideas anyone? Also, if I continue to reapply every month (as I plan to do) will my color darken over time? I would prefer to keep my hair as bright and light as possible.
