Cost of Henna + question about rubarb

Hi, I figured it out and will cost about 65.00 to dye my hair using
henna and indigo. Does that seem like a lot? I have been using
Logona henna black for 8.00 a complete box, but someone here said
that Logona was expensive to use. So what is everybody using? I
have 3 children that I home school so I'm using hubbys income. And
at 65.00 every 4 weeks my only hope for dyed hair is going back to
2.50/box relvon black dye. My other question is someone suggested
using rubarb on my hair to abtain blonde shimmer over my black hair
(post from eairler this june, scroll down through the posts if you
missed it) Does anyone know if I should mix it in with my
henna/indigo? Or apply is seperatly? Need all the help I can get!
