Get a sample of pure henna from the samples area here. I KNOW that's
the clean stuff. Most people who are allergic to pure henna becamse
sensitized from mixing henna to dye their hair ...and I wonder if its
possible that you could have become sensitized by breathing in the
henna powder when your mother mixed it. Its a remote possibility, but
... it IS a possibility. Test. Mix some and put it on your arm and
see if you get massive itching in the first 3 hours.
