So your lemons might be slightly less acidic than your average store-bought lemon. I can't use straight cider vinegar on my skin either -- but I think it's milder than white vinegar (which is what I use when I demonstrate the vinegar-baking soda reaction to my elementary classes)--not that I'd try putting THAT on my scalp -- too stinky! CCJ is probably right -- citric acidic is an easy way to go b/c you control the acidity. Natasha
