Neutral henna isn't henna .... see the FAQ. I did Gwyn's hair with
indigo about 3 minutes after she rinsed out the henna. Go from one
right to the other. Some people mix henna and indigo, others do henna
first, indigo next. One of the reasons to keep henna in the mix is to
avoid "blue hair". Indigo dyes blue.
