OK! Gonna try cassia! Help?Posted by kris on June 29, 2004 at 16:05:27: I want to try C. obovata. My questions (after thoroughly perusingthis forum) are as follows: I wash my hair once a week with baking soda & honey, then follow with a vinegar rinse to restore acidity (which I also rinse out). Will there be any problems using cassia in conjunction with my routine? When's the best time to use it? I was thinking right after a wash? How much do I need? My hair is almost waist length & pretty thick (4" circ. ponytail). I was thinking of using sample packets first, but how much is in those ... are they just enough for a harvested strand test? I'd need a million of 'em then, & might as well buy a larger amount from a supplier. I have the no-sugar-needed kind of pectin ... would that work OK? I don't need gloves or anything with just cassia? How long does the conditioning effect last? How often should I repeat it if I like the effects? TIA! Kris
