I find the lemon juice really dries out my hair. My hair is quite
dry anyway, so I mix my henna with old red wine (it stinks I warn
you), a few drops of lemon juice, lots of olive oil and some hot
water. The olive oil helps condition the hair whilst your waiting
for the henna to take.
