indigo and henna ratio

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know if any of you have a good rule of thumb about a
good henna/indigo ratio to get nice dark brown. Do I have to mix them
and apply them at the same time, or do i need to do 2 processes?
Does indigo behave the same way with previously chemically treated
hair like body art quality henna does?
