Red red henna

I've been bleaching and tinting my hair red (like stop sign red) fora while and wanted to try henna, but I had a few questions about how
to keep it as red as possible and make the new regrowth the same, as
I know the red parts will be redder. My hair goes a few inches below
my shoulders, and I have dark blonde/light brown roots. What and how
much can I put in it to make the henna red? Also, will it keep
getting darker/browner each time I dye it, or would it stay the
colour it was the first few times? Thanks
