Hi Brian,
"Light brown and white" is definitely going to come up a very vivid
red if you use body art quality henna. I had a lot of light golden
brown colours in my hair naturally and am getting a noticable
proportion of white hairs also. And my whites are a vivid orange,
blending nicely into the rest of my deep red chestnut shade.

Just to be realistic, you would be making a big change, definitely
red! As Pierre suggested you could consider using indigo in
combination with the henna to achieve a warm reddish brown. (Have a
look over in the mixes section)
