although I noticed that my dyed portions generally turn out much
brighter red than my natural roots, which are more of a brown-
auburnish reddish, color...
I don't see any reason to damage your hair further by trying to
remove the dye you currently have in your hair - the only way to do
that is a bleach mixture at the salon and that will fry your hair
even more - Jill
