New to Henna , wanting to try

Hello, I have been keeping my hair dyed with chemicals since I was 12
( I'm now 27) I still have chemical dye in my hair however I am
wanting to attempt to use Henna instead.

If anyone could give me some tips it would be most helpful.
I have been told I need to remove the hair dye I currently have in my
hair , what would be a good product to remove the dye with that would
not be to terribly damageing to my hair?
I was just sent the link to this web sight so I'm still pouring over
it :-).
I was hopeing some people who have been useing it for some time could
give me some pointers, my hair is naturaly quiet strong and healthy
but I am afraid if I continue to use harsh chemicals in it that it
will not stay that way much longer.
