I was in a mad dash to get to work! : well wow I do love it!!!! its very orangey red where the highlights : were but it doesnt show up that much on the web-cam but yes here is : an idea just picture it quite orangey but ooh its so cool!hehe I do : wonder though about my dark roots they did remain pretty dark, You'll probably find that with repeated hennaeing (especially if you use good quality stuff) that the colour will deepen & become more red & less orangey.. Also, over the next few days, the colour will oxidise somewhat & the bright glow should wear off! Also, with repeated hennas, you'll probably find your roots blend much better, with your highlighted bits : thinking in a while about lifting the root color with bleach just to : the light brown almost reddish stage about thirty minutes of : bleaching then henna-ing over that? Is that safe do you think? I have : no idea how to combine the bleaching with the henna but wouldnt want : to over bleach just a bit to lift some of the color up a little so : the henna will color reddish better . I haven't used bleach in conjunction with henna.. in fact I haven't used bleach at all. My highlighted bits were with blonde colour which did have 12% peroxide, but I didn't use bleach powder, just colour(that caused enough damage.. I wouldn't even consider using bleach on my own hair), . I know other people have bleached over their henna.. so I'll leave this one for those who know, to answer :o) : Oh I only left mine on for 2 hours, and I didnt let it : sit like I know I was supposed to, but next time when Im not so : impatient to get on with it. You should get much better stain from your henna, if you let it sit & wait for dye release.. & the longer you can bear to keep it on your head, the better, in my book! :o)
