The "neutral henna" from Rainbow should not dye your hair red (ALWAYS
do a strand test though - you never know if there is a mix-up during
manufacturing), but I have no idea what is *actually* being touted
as "neutral henna". I used it shortly ago (before I knew about "body
grade henna" being used for hair) and to be honest I didn't find it
did much of anything for me. If anything, my hair felt a little
dryer. I've also used the Rainbow "strawberry blonde" and while it
did color my naturally strawberry blonde hair a scary bright orange I
found that my hair felt "conditioned" and was very shiny after it
dried. This makes me extremely doubtful that there is any true henna
in the "neutral henna" product. It may be cassia they are using, but
if it is, it isn't very good cassia. All in all, a product I was
disappointed in and would NOT buy again now that I know about body
grade henna and fresh cassia.
