I had breast cancer five years ago, alone of all my female relations, and this despite being a vegetarian, nonsmoker, and one who takes a 'wee nip'only very occasionally.I get dreadful migraines, facial oedema, and erupt in hives for no hitherto discernible reason, and even my doctor found it quite mysterious. Well, hello, PPDs! Since finding this site, I have followed link after link, doing my own research along the way, and didn't I find an article in which I learned of a 1986 study which connected breast cancer and PPDs - a study whose results were never widely disseminated, and which was never followed by others. Truly, had it not been for this site, I might well have carried on using chemical hair dyes and putting myself at further risk. As it is, I am awaiting my first package of henna from Catherine, since I'd be an idiot not to make the change, and I say three cheers for this site!
