Quality does matter........Posted by Meg on August 30, 2004 at 22:21:18: In reply to: brand quality? posted by justmouse on August 30, 2004 at 21:51:49: I have tested several hennas to see how they do and by far the bodyart quality is the best in conditioning and color. That being said, the ones in the herbal stores are acceptable. My sister does use them as she and hubby are recoverying from bankruptcy, so at this point, she just can afford any better. The upside is that they will stain but seem to take more time to get a dark stain and, of course, need to be fresh so make sure the stock is cycled through often. The down side is that they contain sand and green dye. In my opion this is why the stain is not as intense. I am no expert. What I know I learned here and the Long Hair Community Forum. What I have told you is from my own experimenting. Meg
