I have tested several hennas to see how they do and by far the body
art quality is the best in conditioning and color. That being said,
the ones in the herbal stores are acceptable. My sister does use
them as she and hubby are recoverying from bankruptcy, so at this
point, she just can afford any better. The upside is that they will
stain but seem to take more time to get a dark stain and, of course,
need to be fresh so make sure the stock is cycled through often.
The down side is that they contain sand and green dye. In my opion
this is why the stain is not as intense. I am no expert. What I
know I learned here and the Long Hair Community Forum. What I have
told you is from my own experimenting.
