A lot of people have hennaed over chemically dyed hair

Have a look at the mixes section to see how it turned out (it's
probably easiest to start with the table, I put in a column for
chemically dyed hair). My girlfriend hennaed over bleached bits and
it didn't seem to hold, but she says henna never sticks in her hair.
Another friend of mine has hennaed over dyed hair (she's got dark
blonde hair, dyed it copper, it had faded to strawberry blonde by the
time we hennaed) and I've not seen her since then but she says that
the colour is fabulous and has stayed fabulous.
