You can henna as often as you like, you don't need to wait, althoughI have curly hair, and I've found that doing henna too often will
make it straighter. Small price to pay for super shiny hair, in my
opinion. I don't think that henna will build up to the point it
looks bluish-red (purpley?) but that really depends on your hair
color and texture....I've never noticed my henna fading, but after a
month or two it's not as vibrant, although it's still really
reddish.
