Applying henna is like very vigorous rubbing of your hair and : scalp, like a thorough hairwash that takes much longer than usual. If : your hair can't really take brushing or washing right now...? : : I think that all you can do is wait and see how your hair recovers, : and then do very cautious testing. Did you look up hairbrush testing, : which is described elsewhere on this site? It's when you harvest hair : from your hairbrush and test the henna on that. Wait a while, see : where hairbrush tests get you, and then think again. Hopefully your : hair will recover. Maybe when it gets past a certain point, when most : of the hair is new growth but there's still a certain amount of : damaged ends, your hair will be able to cope? Everything you say makes sense (and is unfortunately what I was afraid of) I will try the hairbrush test, but am not sure it would be an efective test...being that my fear is the hair breaking off my head..and since the hair is already off (in the brush) the weight won't really be a factor. Any thoughts on Valeries suggestion on how to thin down the mixture? TIA-Mel
