I don’t think they put PPD’s in shampoos.

So no need to worry about those in shampoos. I personally see no
problems with sodium lauryl sulfates. They are highly effective
detergents which is why some people find them very drying. I
personally prefer the ammonium lauryl sulfates as they seem less
drying to me. I have doubts that they are as dangerous as they have
been rumored to be.
