You can use henna on chemically treated hair and from what I've
seen/read the time between the last chemical treatment and when you
can use henna varies from person to person.
The BEST thing to do is take the hair that collects in your
hairbrush, or a small section that you can cut off of your hair and
use that to test the henna on to see if enough chemical is gone to
keep some of the nasty reactions between chemical and henna from
happening. This way you can see what is going to happen when you do
henna all your hair without risking damage. Everyone's hair is
different so the wait time between the last chemical treatment and
hennaing will be different.
