Henna and Cassia on dark blonde hair?

Now that I've henna'd my mom's hair with Catherine's fabulous henna,
I'm considering doing my own. Trouble is, my current haircolor is
not all that bad, dark blonde with some nice natural golden
highlights (virgin hair). I'm a little scared to go *that* red with
no going back, yk? It just feels like a big jump.

So.... Catherine suggested a mix of Cassia and Henna. Any
recommendations on ratios of henna and cassia that I can use to get a
gentle tint without going whole hog red (just yet anyway)? I can
experiment, since I can always just go full on henna if I don't like
what comes out, but if anyone has any experience on using henna
for "strawberry blond", I'd appreciate your input :-)
