That's not very long, I'm not surprised you didn't get a result. Didyou mix it up properly, with an acid such as lemon juice and leaving
it long enough for the dye to release? Have a look at my table in the
Mixes section, that'll give you a good idea of how long other people
have left the henna on their hair and what else they put in. Which
henna were you using?
