My hair had been previously SEVERELY damaged and I was scared as a
first timer to put it on longer! However it was a 100 percent
organic plant medium brown...and because my hair was so light from
the chemicals I thought for sure it would take. I did use the lemon
juice but I also used the recipe for Fias gel mix (with pectin) as
my hair is so delicate from damage...it was suggesteed here that the
gel would be much easier to remove. (it was) I have looked at the
chart but haven't really found anyone who comes all that close to my
situation/hair color/desired reults combined. I also as a newbie am
a bit overwhelmed by adding too many things. Do you by any chance
have any ideas on if just body quality henna and walnut powder would
give me a browner red? And how much of each to use? As I said I just
want my first time to be as simple as possible and to get a
brown/red result to blend my roots.

Thanks so much!

: That's not very long, I'm not surprised you didn't get a result.
Did
: you mix it up properly, with an acid such as lemon juice and
leaving
: it long enough for the dye to release? Have a look at my table in
the
: Mixes section, that'll give you a good idea of how long other
people
: have left the henna on their hair and what else they put in. Which
: henna were you using?
