Color darker than expectedPosted by Anne B. on September 23, 2004 at 22:20:10: I used body art henna, following a hairball test, over hair that hadbeen chemically dyed a light-to-medium copper auburn. To my surprise, after the finished result had oxidised for a day or two, it turned out darker than anticipated. In flourescent light, it looks almost dark brown; in natural light, quite red. Does this often happen?and if so, why? My hair is naturally a shade or two darker than I had been dyeing it, and it is almost as if the henna 'knew' that, and restored it to its natural level. Thanks!
