for me, it totally depends on the lighting - it's red outdoors, brown indoors. my hair
colour pretty much displays three quarters of the range of colours you see on the
'mixes' page - it's 'Elizebeth T' in the sunshine, and 'Debbie B.' indoors, and all the
shades in between, depending on the lighting. halogen, fluorescent light, classic
lightbulb all bring out different colours.
I interchange between using catherine's henna, and logona 'natural brown'. doesn't
matter which I did last, the whole range is always there.
I'm thinking that if you use henna, the red will always take over in the sunshine. but it
may be different if you use a good quality indigo over it.
if you want no red, you may be better off using black walnut?
