Out in the sun again: flaming red.Somewhere else: just dark brown. Tonight: deep auburn, hardly any dark 'lowlights.' This damn stuff is a surprise a day, with a life, a physics, and a chemistry all its own!! Some of you who want browner hair, as I did not: my 'scare' came from Jamila, and it did look unbelievably dark a week after application. It's settling into dark auburn, but considering I began with fried, almost strawberry-blonde patches, the fact that it could get those so dark in just one go suggests that it might work well for those of you who would then carry on with indigo and walnut. As I often say, I am just new to this, but share my experience anyway in case it is of use to somebody. [Is this year's crop of Jamila especially frisky about a dark dye release, and is that why I got such a jolt from it, do you think?]
