I have dark brown hair as well, but it's full of faded burgundyhighlights. I did my hair with a really old box of Jamila that I got
from the Indian bodega. It filled in my faded spots, but I'm gonna do
it again so it will be darker. Do not use SURYA! Surya is not henna,
it's a crappy semipermanent dye that doesn't work and reeks like
heck. I don't know what's in it, but I used it last year and it did
not come out at ALL. Order your henna from Kenzi, she lives down in
Brooklyn I think.
