Dealing with Indigo's consistency posted by Anna on November 4, 2004 at 15:14:25: I've often pondered mayo. But one thing to remember is that indigo is NOT henna. Indigo is used to dye fabric in 'vats'- huge pots full of water. I've also pondered dipping head into pot of indigo but the neck ache potental usualy out weighs the thought. L : I've been hennaing and indigoing for about 6 months now, and have : really gotten used to the rituals of applying/length of time needed : to color my hair, etc. But there is one thing that I'm not getting : used to: the consistency of indigo. Does anyone have tips on how to : make indigo less sloppy? I've been adding cassia obovata and that : seems to help somewhat, but perhaps dilutes the richness of the dark : indigo that I need to react to my already hennaed hair. : : Any advice appreciated...
