how to i go smashing red from blonde with bleached highlights?

hello everybody,

my hair is naturally dirty blonde, but has a fair bit of bleached highlights in it at the
moment. last saturday, i put on one of these washinwashout tints in smashing red, but
after two washes is has faded so much i am tempted to henna my hair next. however, i
want it to be really red (not afraid of brightness), but not gingery-carroty orange. can
anyone give me advice which caca, other henna (*ducks*) and remaining conditions might
help me to achieve my dream result? of course i will still do a strand test too, but i just
don't know where to start!

see below for my blonde underneath, the colour my hair was after putting the tint on last
saturday - the kind of henna red i would really should be close to the red i have, although
i don't mind it being more orange in direction of sunset, burning flames, but i definitely
don't want something more carrotty or brownish (i.e. not like my friend on the right in the
top picture)!
