In 1999 I went through a horrible break-up, the result was male
pattern baldness. Stress reduction was difficult to deal with.
I used (and still do) Natural Calm by Natural Vitality. It's
just powdered magnesium. Check the website www.vites.com or
call 800-446-7462, it's located in Los Angeles. You should be able
to find this in most helth food stores.
I also stopped using all hair products, and chopped it ALL off.It
was down to the middle of my back. Shocking! I stopped harsh
coloring and slicked it back like Trinity (Matrix) with coconut oil.
Although it was unbelivably liberating for me, I can see how
most people would not want to do this. My hair was about 1/2 inch
long at this point. I enjoyed keeping it short for a year, and then
started letting it grow again.
Also, to encourage new growth you can try Eidon brand Silica.
That is a liquid mineral supplement. The dosage is one tablespoon
per day, but you can safely take two. You will see new growth all
over the whole body, brows, legs, pits...so you will be shaving more.
