I just heannaed my hair for the first time. I've been dying it for
years so of course I did a lot of tests on hair I'd saved from my
hairbrush first. They came out fine so I went ahead with it, but I
was really frightened, I admit. Most of my hair is a bright (I mean
technicolor bright) red, but the roots are a nice auburn. I think
it's so bright because I applied heat with a hairdryer every 30
minutes or so and left it in for 2 hrs. I'm very pleased, my hair
feels a little healthier, certainly not like it's just been dyed, and
I'm excited about growing it out and having healthy red hair. Hope
it helps to hear from someone else who has just taken the plunge!
