One reason you don't want to just put indigo on is that it turns a smarmy blue-
black. There is no shine to it. I did a sample and was quite horified by the
color. The henna gives some gleam and also red+blue=black. I use the indigo
from mehindi.com (the sister site that I spelled wrong!) And I get consistant,
fantastic results. I really should post a pict of my latest adventure.
